Dyslexia Remediation
Dyslexia remediation involves targeted interventions designed to assist individuals with dyslexia in developing effective reading and writing skills. These interventions are most effective when they are evidence-based, structured, and tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
We apply the Orton Gillingham approach to support our learners with dyslexia
maximize their learning abilities.
This is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling do not come easily to individuals with dyslexia.
It can be an individual or small group environment, with reading, spelling, and writing as the primary components and mathematics as an option. Because of the teacher-to-student ratio, this approach is our preferred remediation tool.
We design the lessons and materials specifically for each student at the level they need. We highlight their strengths and focus on designing the approach around those strengths.
